Silicone-based lubricants are preferred with condoms because:
- They are fully compatible with latex and polyurethane condoms (won’t weaken or degrade them, unlike oil-based lubes).
- They last longer without drying out, reducing friction and breakage risk during extended use.
- They provide superior, silky-smooth lubrication for better comfort and pleasure.
Water-based options are safe too but evaporate faster. Always choose water- or silicone-based only.
